Zhang Fuye is Professor and doctoral supervisor of Tsinghua University Academy of Fine Arts, Distinguished professor and doctoral supervisor of China National Academy of Arts, National Social Science Fund, National Art Fund Evaluation Experts, Doctor Dissertation Evaluation Expert of Degree Center of Ministry of Education, Executive Member of CAEFA, Member of Graphic Design Art Committee of Chinese Artists Association, Vice President of Creative China Design Alliance, Tsinghua University  Professor of Wu Guanzhong Art Research Center, Researcher of Zhang Ding Art Research Center, etc. He was a visiting researcher at Tokyo University of the Arts, Editor-in-Chief of Decoration, a core periodical of Chinese art, Director of Art History Department, Academy of Fine Arts, Tsinghua University, Director of the World Art History Institute. He has written academic works such as History of Foreign Arts and Crafts, History of Foreign Design, History of Foreign Modern Design, History of World Decorative Art, and Japanese Fine Arts, and published a number of influential academic papers in the academic world. At the same time, Zhang Fu also has deep attainments in pottery, painting and calligraphy and design practice. He has held many personal art exhibitions at home and abroad, which are widely praised.
