Chinese ceramic culture has a long history. It is a perfect combination of practical function and ornamental art, therefore ceramic creation involves two major systems of design and art. In ceramic creation, ceramic design and art emerged together due to the different development process, function expression, way of thinking and production mode. Through the research and investigation of ceramic design and art, the theory of design and art has been enriched and improved, and the training mode of scientific ceramic design and art talents has been further explored.
