In order to review and summarize the development history and brilliant achievements of China's ceramic industry in the past 100 years, so as to promote the better development of China's ceramic industry in the future, China National Light Industry Council，China Ceramic Industry Association, Jingdezhen Ceramic University, Beijing Guozhong Ceramic Research Institute, People's Publishing House and New Star Press have jointly started the work collection, editing and publishing activities themed with “keep the mission to revitalize the great cause of Chinese ceramics in mind ”.

This event is a significant and necessary event for China's ceramic field in the process of realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. It aims to meticulously select the best Chinese ceramic artworks from China and abroad in the past 100 years through the largest scale and widest collection since modern times. The collection of Chinese ceramic art in the past 100 years will be edited and published. For the first time, we conduct systematic academic carding and in-depth research on the development process and achievements of Chinese modern ceramic art, and show the world the great changes and remarkable development of Chinese ceramic art in the past 100 years, especially in the New China. Since the preparation stage, the activity has been highly valued and recognized by the China National Light Industry Council and other authoritative government departments, relevant associations and universities, and benefited from the participation and active support of the leaders of the national top professional departments and well-known experts and scholars. The event also received the attention and support of leaders and experts from IAC（International Academy of Ceramics) and many international museums, ceramic academies and collectors. 2. Contents and requirements of works collection

（1）Category and content of works:

a. Art ceramics (display, decoration and other utensils, gift porcelain, ceramic painting and ceramic sculpture, etc.);

b. Life ceramics (tableware, tea set, stationery, lamps and lanterns, etc.);

c. Contemporary ceramic art (including ceramic performance, ceramic installation and public environment ceramic art works).

（2）Requirements:

a. It has strong characteristics of the times, and can reflect the material and cultural level and social background of the times;

b. It has a unique artistic appearance and style in material, technology and craft;

c. It has rich cultural connotation and distinctive characteristics of the production area;

d. Modeling, decoration and other aspects are intact and typical.

3. Registration methods and requirements for works collection

（1）The collection of works can be registered online. Ceramic associations, ceramic research institutes, museums, ceramic related colleges, ceramic artists and collectors of various provinces and cities can register for the evaluation of their works (limited to 3 pieces / sets of works per person) and log in to the collection system on the official website of Beijing Guozhong Ceramic Research Institute, www.gic-bj.com, fill in registration form including relevant text, photos and video materials. Photos shall reflect different angles of works (no less than 3 pieces of each work, JPG format, 3-5M) and short videos (15-30 seconds, MP4, MOV format, no more than 30m).. Paper materials are not accepted.

（2）the works are collected, selected and edited in the following four periods:

a. The period from 1921 to 1949;

b. From 1949 to 1978;

c. 1978-2012;

d. 2012-2021.
